What we do
Buyvora Beejwala sells one thing: vegetable seed intended for sowing. The catalogue is built around named public-sector releases — the Pusa varieties from IARI and the Arka series from IIHR — alongside the standard open-pollinated types that Indian growers have used for decades.
What we try to do differently is publish the information a grower actually needs before sowing: the germination window, the sowing depth, the spacing, the season, and the tax treatment recorded against that specific product. It is the information a certification tag carries. We think it belongs on the listing, not stapled inside the pack where you find it after paying.
What we sell
Our catalogue is 50 products across 6 categories:
- Fruiting Vegetables — Tomato, brinjal, chilli, capsicum and okra — the beds that keep producing all season. (13 products)
- Gourds & Cucurbits — Bottle, bitter, ridge and ash gourd, pumpkin and cucumber for trellis and field. (11 products)
- Leafy Greens — Palak, methi, amaranth and lettuce — fast, repeat-harvest greens for kitchen beds. (6 products)
- Root & Bulb Vegetables — Radish, carrot, beetroot, turnip and onion, sown direct into worked soil. (8 products)
- Cole Crops — Cabbage, cauliflower and knol khol for the cool rabi window. (5 products)
- Beans & Peas — Garden pea, cowpea, cluster bean and French bean — nitrogen-fixing and quick to crop. (7 products)
Everything listed is supplied as seed for sowing and cultivation. Nothing on this website is sold as food, feed or a food ingredient, and nothing is processed for consumption.

How we handle tax
Seed for sowing falls under HSN 1209 and is nil-rated or exempt from GST where applicable. We do not apply that treatment simply because a product is called a seed. Each product carries its own reviewed tax classification, and a product whose classification has not been approved does not appear for sale on this website at all. The treatment recorded at the moment of sale is the treatment printed on your invoice, so a later catalogue correction never rewrites a document already issued.
How we operate
- Orders are dispatched within 1-2 working days, with courier tracking on every consignment.
- Checkout itemises product value, GST and shipping before payment. The total shown is the total charged.
- Every paid order generates a numbered invoice automatically, available from your order page.
- Every payment is reconciled against exactly one order using the gateway transaction reference.
- Cancellation, return, refund and shipping terms are published in full and linked from every page.
